What People Ask Before Hiring Us

Short, direct answers to the questions we hear most often before a job.
A qualified electrician should hold a Level 3 qualification in electrical installation, the 18th Edition of the wiring regulations, and ideally an ECS Gold Card as proof of competence. ACN holds all three, plus City and Guilds qualifications in inspection and testing, EV charging and PAT testing.
Yes. ACN holds an ECS Gold Card as an Approved Electrician and five City and Guilds qualifications, covering installation, the 18th Edition wiring regulations, inspection and testing, EV charging and PAT testing.
An ECS Gold Card is recognised proof that an electrician is fully qualified and competent, and it can be checked on site. ACN holds one as an Approved Electrician, so you can verify the qualification before any work begins.
An 18th Edition qualification means the electrician works to BS 7671, the current UK wiring regulations. ACN also holds the City and Guilds 2391-52 inspection and testing qualification, so ACN can inspect, test and certify your installation and issue an EICR.
